Forty years of doing other people’s laundry.
El Camino Laundromat is the Mountain View shop in a small chain of four Bay Area laundromats run by the same family for more than four decades. The other three are in Milpitas, Santa Clara, and San Jose.
This location took on new management at the end of 2018 and got an entirely new set of washers and dryers in the deal. The lights are bright, the floors are mopped, and the front door opens at six in the morning whether it’s a Tuesday or Christmas.
Day-to-day, it’s Ron and Jen — they run the wash-and-fold counter and know most of the regulars by name. Stop in and say hi.
